Tiramisu Run in Treviso
My first time in Treviso, and it couldn’t have been better: the Tiramisù Run, a 10 km race through the beautiful historic centre, finishing on the city’s Renaissance walls. The reward? A tiramisù from a local restaurant for every runner, in the province considered the birthplace of the dessert.
Treviso’s canals wind between the streets, with river water so clear you can see the fish.
Runners from over 100 countries filled the city, and it truly came alive that day. Smiles at the finish, medals, spoons and plenty of tiramisù: that’s what it was like.
